December 28, 2006 - Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) will be announced on January 4th. The awards ceremony will be presented on Sunday, January 28, 2007, from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center and televised live nationally on TNT and TBS at 8 PM (ET/PT), 7 PM (Central), 6 PM (Mountain).

December 22, 2006 - Poeia found this rare clip of a series Hugh hosted in 1986 called South of Watford post by UnitedSystems at youtube. It's very odd, to say the least. The segment description (from marykir's site, which has the series description in detail:)
In the last programme of the series Hugh Laurie gets embroiled in the activities of the Mutoid Waste Company, one of the strangest but most entertaining communities in London. Mutoids are a bunch of urban gypsies whose philosophy and lifestyle have been influenced by flower power, Mad Max and Judge Dredd comics.

Variety has reported that Hugh and Stephen Fry have been reported to be on board for Iostar, an ambitious new venture apparently being built on the business model of a Hollywood studio.
""Iostar is virgin territory for a British entertainment and media company," says Theresa Wise, executive partner, communications and high tech, at Accenture. "As I understand it, the backers want to create a company where talent wants to work and where talent can work across lots of different platforms."

December 10, 2006 - The House Christmas party was held last night at Chocolat in Hollywood. The Band From TV provided entertainment. Visit band member Rich Winer's myspace to see a slideshow, which includes Hugh singing, playing guitar and jamming on the keyboards. There is a fun shot of Jesse Spencer playing the violin as well. A slideshow will also be featured on the Band From TV's myspace later today.

Amy sent this scan from the latest US Magazine - a little blurb with one of those photos of Hugh and some of the Band From TV members taking a lunch break. For what it's worth, the date is incorrect. I've had a couple of emails from some inquiring minds as to whether or not the date of Nov. 25th is accurate, so I re-checked with a source connected to the BFTV and that rehearsal took place a couple of weeks before that date.
