November 27, 2005 - I've added a video clip and screencaps from a circa 1991 interview of Hugh and Stephen Fry with Terry Wogan. Thanks to Cyndi for the segment! The clip is nearly 16 minutes long. You need quicktime as always, and be sure to "right click" and "save as"

Several people have written to ask where to write to Hugh. I don't know of anyone who has had luck in receiving an autographed picture of him via his agents in the US, (they may not forward his mail to him, or he's simply too busy) however Dayanara wrote with the address of this website that features a few people who have written to him at his London agency and have received responses as recently as Oct. 24.

If you do write to him and would like an autographed picture, be sure to send a self-addressed, stamped envelope and if you live in the US or elsewhere other than the UK, it would be very helpful if you included an IRC. IRC stands for International Reply Coupon.

To quote Dayanara, "you buy one at the post office (and you'll have to make sure it's one in a fairly good sized city, because otherwise, they may not have them) and slip it in the envelope along with the self-addressed envelope and your request letter. Send as usual. Once the assistant (or whoever) gets to your letter, they can use the IRC to buy English stamps (or stamps from wherever) and send the picture "back over the pond".

November 26, 2005 - I've finally gotten around to adding the Stuart Little page. A video clip of the gag reel featured in the DVD, as well as an edited clip of deleted scenes and snippets of Hugh from the documetary Making It Big are included. All are featured on the region 1 deluxe edition DVD. These features may be part of other releases as well - I'm not sure.

November 23, 2005 - There is a small, general article about doctors/medicine and how they are portrayed in the media in the November issue of Inland Empire Magazine. Inland Empire is a magazine that covers parts of Southern California. This issue features the best doctors - in real life - in the area. Anyway, the article isn't about Hugh and only briefly mentions House, but it does feature Hugh on the cover and another full page picture for the article. There is also a full page picture of Patrick Demspey in there.

November 11, 2005 - HOUSE: House believes that a woman (guest star Cynthia Nixon,) who repeatedly visits the hospital with a fabricated symptoms may actually be sick in the HOUSE episode "Deception" airing Tuesday, Dec. 13 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Video clip and screencaps of Hugh's Ellen appearance today will be posted later tonight.

Hugh Laurie and Liz Vassey chat between takes as they film their new CBS pilot, "The Dragons New York."

Dragons of New York was shot in 2002, but was never picked up by CBS. It was a comedy based on The Thin Man.

Witten was full of praise for the show's star, British actor Hugh Laurie.

"His intuitions are terrific," Witten said. "He's very smart. He's a writer himself, so he's very responsive. It's a joy to work with him on every level."

Witten also spoke highly of the rest of the cast, particularly of how pleasant they are as people, in addition to their talents.

"I have been in other situations -- and I won't go into specifics -- where actors weren't quite as easy to work with," he said.

Witten said Laurie -- whenever he's on the set, and the whole day he is performing -- only speaks in his put-on American accent, including at the office or at read-throughs. One night though, Laurie took Witten and others out to dinner and started speaking in his regular accent, "and I was stunned. We were all stunned," Witten said. "We said 'Enough with the fake British accent!'"

Laurie is very conscious of the accent, he said.

"Hugh said that acting for him, in America, it's like 'Everybody is playing tennis with a tennis racquet, and you're playing with mackerel,'" he said.
